Hi Pat,
We've always been very
happy with Total Merchant Services but when I was contacted by another
company last year, I switched to them because we were offered a pin pad to
take debit cards, as there was a savings involved. I didn't even think to
ask Total Merchant Services about a pin pad (which you were able to provide
at a later date). WHAT A MISTAKE I MADE!! We endured their poor service
(something ALWAYS was going wrong with transactions), we went through
4 terminals and 2 pin pads because of poor instructions, and their customer
service was just about non-existent. Tech support didn't seem to know what
it was doing and I rarely could get a supervisor. Our statements from them
didn't reconcile and no one would help me get them straightened out.
We were on the phone with tech support an average of 2-3 times a week, till,
finally after almost 2 mos., I said ENOUGH! And called Total Merchant
Service to switch back. Things have been GREAT since then. We got a
pin pad from them. Mr. Pat McDavitt was top notch in customer service,
calling me several times to make sure things were working OK and they were!
Our statements always reconcile and I can't remember the last time I called
for tech support. Would I recommend Total Merchant Services? You bet -
they're FABULOUS!
