Electronic payment process is the future. Today the ACH network includes some 20,000 depository financial institutions, 3, 5000,000 corporations, and 100,000,000 individual consumers. The number of OFDFI's/RDFI's (origination or receiving depository financial institutions) that are able to connect to the ACH network is approximately 1, 5000. ACH is an offline batch process.
